Current Projects
1. It is time to begin thinking about gardening. NNEMAP needs fresh produce and you can help. We have our own small garden behind our building, plus we are a part of a large community garden at Lutheran Ascension Church. We get produce from many church and neighborhood gardens. Think about NNEMAP if you plan on having a garden.
2. We are fortunate to have three AmericorpsVista volunteers who are working this year at the Children's Hunger Alliance and volunteering at NNEMAP twice each month. We are exploring a project that would develop into a recipe book for clients for both fresh produce and typical foods offered at pantries. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
